I am so excited to say that I landed a short term client for social media management in which I hope to have as a long term client. It is for 10 days in which I will be providing social media content such as posting post, stories and reels. I feel that I am gaining the confidence to speak more about my business and what I have to offer. It does not feel as scary to tell people what I know how to do and I am excited to continue to learn and grow in social media management as well as develop other administrative skills.

I signed up for a website that works directly with clients who are fine with mothers working from home, with their children providing virtual assistant services. The site is called hiremymom.com. There are a bunch of listings for job opportunities so that I can grow my business. One thing about going into this field that I was scared of was not being able to find clients that actually wanted to work with me. I worked in food service for over 10 years on the management side but my day to day job was not administrative work. So yes while I have the skills and knowledge I feel make a great virtual assistant not everyone who sees my resume may agree. So being able to take different avenues and ensure myself that I was not going to quit and then being provided with different resources in order to find clients keeps me encouraged to keep moving forward.

I learned about this site through The Virtual Savvy where I received training and guidance on how to grow my virtual assisting business. The Virtual Savvy really helped me with multiple sides of my business such as marketing and giving me the opportunity to be around others who are like minded and trying to grow their business like me. I am not saying to be a great virtual assistant you need training because honestly anything you really want to learn can be learned through YouTube University....I am saying that if you want to jump the line a bit getting training all in one spot truly does help.

With both these organizations I feel confident each day talking to more people about the services I can provide. Being an entrepreneur does take a strong will but a major part of it is mindset and realizing that you can do it. I take each day as an opportunity to learn and grow in something that actually brings me joy. Something that I could not say last year when I was working in the food service industry. Working for yourself will have its ups and downs but just remember one thing You Can Do It.

Thank you for taking the time to read this blog post and share my second win as a virtual assistant. Subscribe to my mailing list so that you can always stay up-to-date with what is going on in my virtual assistant business. God bless and well wishes.
