I am so excited to announce that what was once a dream has now become my reality. I officially have my first client. In which I will be working on social media management. I am so excited for this opportunity.

My first client is CakeCafé4U and the owner is a dear friend of mine. She make the most delicious sweets and treats, and I am beyond grateful for this wonderful opportunity. If you are local to the Tampa Bay, Florida area you have to check her out. My favorite dessert is the strawberry cupcake. Trust me this one will not disappoint you not one bit.

With my first client I feel so much more confident in telling others that I am a virtual assistant. I feel stronger in my skills and being vocal in what I know I can do. Social media has always been an outlet for me, I love being able to share life with those all over. I may not be able to see those that I once had a connection with but with social media it gives me the opportunity to see how amazing those people have become.

One thing for sure is that I have always been tech savvy and social media doesn't feel like work to me. I actually find it fun and easy to do. Growing an organic following is not easy but I do believe that if you learn your analytics, focus on your target audience you can make any page grow. It take strategy, creativity and consistency.

With my first client I was able to grow her engagement by almost 700 views. My friend would post periodically but she is so busy that she just didn't have the energy to post. One thing that I have learned is that if you don't care for it most likely it just wont get done. I know for me if I know I can knock out the task in a few quick easy steps it most likely will get done. As opposed to something that I know I do not care for and it feel like a drawn out task....oh that thing or task will sit in the back burner just taking up brain space. I am so excited to see how I continue to grow. I do have two more leads on providing social media management services. So I am going to follow up and follow through. If they work out then I will share my next client/clients. I do believe in value first. That is one of the main things I learned from being a student at the virtual savvy.

If you are interested in learning how to become a virtual assistant The Virtual Savvy has an amazing course that I took and loved. I started with The Virtual Savvy Checklist . I was sold that this course had everything laid out for me. The course, the community, the growth in mindset and seeing other succeed is what really took this program to the next level. Abbey really cares about her students and her team is amazing. I will say that it takes effort if you want it bad enough you have to keep going and not quit. At the end of the day you are only quitting on yourself. So if you decide to take the course let me know and we can be savvy sisters together. I wish you the best on your virtual assistant journey.

Thank you for taking the time to read this blog post and share my very first win as a virtual assistant. Subscribe to my mailing list so that you can always stay up-to-date with what is going on in my virtual assistant business. God bless and well wishes.
